Yo Fukui

Yo Fukui is an artist living and working in New York. He was born in Shiga, Japan in 1979.
He graduated from high school in Hiroshima, Japan before coming to the United State in 1999.
After a short time at The University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Yo transferred to the Kansas City Art Institute
where he received a BFA in Ceramics in 2005. And Yo received his MFA in Sculpture from
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas where his work moved away from ceramics to large structures covered in felt since 2007.
